A recently refurbished communist era hotel in one of Bohemia's duller towns doesn't sound like much of a draw, but the Bobik is excellent. Cheap, comfortable, clean, friendly, with excellent food and its own beer, it's difficult to fault it - and even if Volary is no tourist attraction, there are mediaeval towns and stunning countryside within very easy reach.
